Shannon

Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LPC), Board Certified Registered Art Therapist (ATR-BC)

I work with adolescents, ages 10 and up, adults, couples, and families. I support clients to build inner resources, gain self-compassion, and become empowered individuals.

I utilize both counseling and art therapy for a unique and dynamic therapeutic experience. Art therapy involves making art to discover, process, and heal what limits you from accessing fulfillment and joy. Art therapy provides an alternative form of communication and expression that goes beyond what is possible through words alone. No art skills are necessary to benefit from art therapy. This practice is impactful for all ages and stages of life.

I work with adolescents, ages 10 and up, adults, couples, and families navigating depression, anxiety, stress, relational conflict, and challenging life transitions, amongst other issues. I support clients to build inner resources, gain self-compassion, and become empowered individuals.

Education & Certifications

My Approach

My clinical approach includes art therapy, mindfulness-based practices, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I am a trauma informed and LGBTQ+ affirming therapist. I support my clients through an atmosphere of compassion, empathy and respect.

Therapy may seem like a daunting process, but it is truly one of the best opportunities to get to know yourself and release what is no longer serving you.
