DESCRIPTION:Visual Journaling is a way of having a dialogue with yourself using images and words. It’s open to anyone\, regardless of art experience. We’ll begin by making the journal itself as a creative\, upcycling practice. Each session includes a prompt and a process for exploring your response in meditative ways\, such as collage\, stamping\, or simple mark-making with line\, color\, and shape. What you create goes home with you\, offering a tangible reminder of this practice and a way to continue it beyond class. DESCRIPTION:Join our friendly community for our figure drawing with nude model class. * Adults only. \nOur artist Kiley Linares can build your figure drawing confidence and help you discover your personal style by teaching you about: \n\ngestures\nlighting\nforeshortening\nproportions\nshading\n\nYou are welcome to join these session no matter your skill level! Guidance and skills will be provided in between pose transitions. Our focus for these sessions is to build our art-loving community\, enjoy practicing something new together\, and to provide you with skills to refine your personal style. Sessions begin by warming up with short gesture poses\, followed by a 10-15min demonstration of how to draw a figure. Demonstrations and assistance are provided throughout the session. Remaining time is determined by group consensus\, with poses typically gradually increasing from 10min to 30min in duration. DESCRIPTION:Visual Journaling is a way of having a dialogue with yourself using images and words. It’s open to anyone\, regardless of art experience. We’ll begin by making the journal itself as a creative\, upcycling practice. Each session includes a prompt and a process for exploring your response in meditative ways\, such as collage\, stamping\, or simple mark-making with line\, color\, and shape. What you create goes home with you\, offering a tangible reminder of this practice and a way to continue it beyond class.
