DESCRIPTION:Visual Journaling \nExplore thoughts\, feelings\, and experiences through creative journal making and process-based\nartmaking—words optional. This art-as-therapy class offers materials\, ideas\, and guidance\nthrough two types of classes. \n\nMAKE: Create a unique journal from upcycled materials and learn a pamphlet stitch to\nbind its pages. Leave with a handmade journal and prompts for reflection through words\nand images.\nMARK: Explore and express thoughts and feelings through marks and images. We’ll\nbegin with a moment of mindfulness practice\, then explore materials with a simple\nreflection prompt. We’ll close with time to reflect together on the experience.\nNo art or bookbinding experience needed. Materials are provided. Come to one class or return\nfor more—check the calendar for MAKE and MARK dates.\n\nThis week: MARK – Explore and express thoughts and feelings through process-based artmaking with marks and images—words optional. We’ll begin with a moment of mindfulness practice\, then explore materials with a simple reflection prompt. We’ll close with time to reflect together on the experience.
